"Blue Russia" – that is
how Seliger was called by our predecessors. Extremely
beautiful natural landscapes and great structures
of the Russian cultural and religious life are supplemented
with a miracle of the Russian Nature - Seliger lake.
Odd contours of its bank line resemble a cross and
multiple islands, there are about 160 of them conceal
its real sizes.
You will be able to see a unique natural and artistic
complex – Nil's hermitage, source of great Russian
river Bolga, ancient Russian city Ostashkov and a
great deal of others.

- Take off from air port "Myachkovo"
by helicopter Mi-8PS. During the flight at the altitude
of 150 meters you will be able to see the beauty
of the Russian northern nature and the country of
"one thousand of lakes" which was called
as "Blue Russia" in ancient time.

- Landing at the helicopter site near
village Volgoverkhovie near the source of great
Russian river Volga. People kept trying to find
out where its source was located, assigning a sort
of a sacred power to it.

- A flight to island Stolbny.
- 13:00
- Landing at the helicopter site at
the distance of 300 meters from a monastery Nil
– Stolobenskaya poustyn.
A pedestriam excursion to the monastery following
pilgrims' path. Excursion in the monastery. Duration
of the excursion is equal to 1 hour 30 minutes.
Free time – 30 minutes. A possibility to climb the
monastery bell tower to take a video and photo shooting
of Seliger landscapes.

(about 500 meters).

and getting acquainted with a folklore musical team.
(or going with a lunch on board of a boat with a
