Moscow

To come to Russia without visiting Moscow means to know nothing about Russia and its people. Prince Yuri Dolgorouky founded Moscow in 1147. It was the capital of Russia from 15th century until 1712, and again from 1918 to present day. All stages of the complex diverse history of Russia, which spreads from the Baltic Sea to the Pacific, left their traces on Moscow's look. Now it's one of the greatest cities in the world - political, cultural, scientific, and industrial center of Russia
